I'm not spotless

I have a plan!! I know at least one person is interested in this! (Shout out!) But I also think having it here on the blog will be an easy way for me to reference it...

I am no cleaning pro, let's get this down straight. In fact, I am so terrible at it that I desperately needed a plan to help me keep up! Oh sure, we could hire someone, but I can't really justify that unless I am hugely pregnant or have a newborn and it's safe to say we are out of that stage for a little while. So, in an effort to get a grip on my cleaning I came up with my new cleaning plan.

A few tips:
Practice ten-minute or twenty-minute tidy every day. It's amazing what you ca do running around the house like a mad-woman in brief spurts!

Never leave a room empty handed. I read this a couple months ago and it's changed my LIFE. There's always something that needs to go where you are going.

If you see something that needs to be pick up, do it. You know, like the little tiny pieces of paper that come off of Dylan's needle every morning... No one else wants to do it.  Just do it.

No, this plan does not include a day off during the week. Really it's jam packed with jobs to do... But I have nothing on Saturday, so if a day is missed it can easily be made up (or skipped altogether depending on the job and if I did a thorough enough job last week)

Also, my house really needs to be vacuumed ever couple of days which usually works into my cleaning schedule nicely (and sometimes let's me have a light day on the official vacuuming day!)

Oh and I know you aren't going to climb up and take apart your light fixture every week, why would you? But if it's on the list you will at least look at them and see if it needs to be done right? Same with shutters and trim... Vacuuming mattresses? Every week might be over kill! But while you have the vacuum out...

Boy did I have a busy week the week I put this together. I wanted to start fresh so I did everything on this list! Phew... Now I can take a couple of weeks off. Just kidding!

So there we have it. Sounds like a plan!
